"The training was very comprehensive and was fully supported by Emma's working knowledge. I think Emma demonstrated how easy it was to take everything in, more so than just looking at a computer. The training showed everyone the importance of this training without being too onerous.."

EMMA MALE  PTLLS, RDN, Cert Dental Implant Nursing.

Emma has worked in dentistry for 18 years with experience as a dental nurse and practice and hospital manager. She has been a dental nurse tutor for 10 years and qualified as an Ambulance First responder with Southwest Ambulance service in 2016. She lives in south Somerset with her young family who, together, enjoy the great outdoors. Her sporting loves include running, triathlon and football.

Describing herself: “I am passionate about delivering practical live saving skills to dental practice which are specific to their practice, making the smallest of improvements to working systems can make a huge difference to performance and the outcome of a medical emergency situation”

POPPY WALSH

Poppy started her career in dentistry twenty-five years ago.  She was a dental nurse at King's College Dental Institute for several years.  She then went on to qualify as a clinical dental hygienist in 2004.  She still works in private practice three days a week.  She is also a dedicated Community First Responder serving her community by responding with the South East Coast Ambulance service since 2010.

Her spare time is spent with her beloved horse and dogs and generally enjoying the countryside where she lives in Kent.

Poppy says: “I love delivering resuscitation training within a team environment to empower a practice to feel confident when dealing with medical emergencies. It should be a fun and enjoyable experience so that the whole team learn together.  Basic life support skills should be taught to everyone, there is nothing worse than not knowing what to do in a emergency"

A passion for delivering first class training to the Dental Audience that is completely relevant to the business of Dentistry was the catalyst for the conception of the business in 2004. With many years’ experience as an ambulance responder and more than 32 years as a clinical Hygienist/Therapist, before retiring from the GDC register in 2019, these combined skills provide the ideal knowledge base for delivering realistic training.

"Every course we deliver is tailored specifically to the individual practice but the focus will always be on making it relevant AND enjoyable. You are far more likely to remember a subject that you have enjoyed learning"

NICOLE CLARK

With a background as a Clinical Dental Coordinator, a special interest in anatomy & physiology, and a teaching qualification, Nicole was the perfect choice to join the team at Survive Alive Ltd. Her BLS & Medical Emergencies training sessions are interactive, thorough, & very popular.  Her love for sport has led her to study as a PT alongside working for Survive Alive Ltd.

Away from work, she loves to spend time in the countryside with her young family.

Nicole says: "I am very passionate about delivering interactive BLS & Medical Emergencies training sessions, that gives a hands on and practical approach to a potential real life scenario. It is my responsibility to leave a team feeling confident in knowing their kit and helping provide the right skills and structure if they need to deal with a real life Medical Emergency. I absolutely love what I do and knowing I can pass such crucial skills to dental teams around the UK is extremely important to me."
